Burlesque performer and producer Kitty KaPowww wearing our Eleanor Indigo set would be beautiful enough as it is, but combined with the luscious photography of Gina Barbara is reaching new levels of stunning!
Gina's imagery is always just glowing with such vibrant colour, and the vivid blue of the silk in the Eleanor Indigo set works perfectly with that. We've admired her work from afar for some time, both from her delicious visual style and the amazing models she works with, so when Kitty said she was shooting with her, we were so excited to see the results. They completed this shoot just before lockdown began, and having these images come out now is such a treat.
Performers and creators in the Bay Area looking to update their portfolios with a feast of jewel tones and candy coloured heaven can prebook with Gina now with 10% credit and double images with April deposits for future shoots, or indeed book in for a webcam shoot to take place right now, using the magic of technology to still take advantage of Gina's creative eye whilst sheltering in place. The resilience and adaptability of creators in these times is such a constant inspiration!
Kitty's burlesque work is transferred to a virtual format right now too, but for those in San Francisco looking for something to look forward to once the city reopens, her regular haunt, Kind of Blue Revue combines the best of burlesque and fusion performance with a live blues band, lindy hop dancers and a raucously good fun night out.
Hex in the City, a night full of queer creativity, glamorously horror-inspired cabaret and the very best of SF's LGBTQ+ and POC performers, that Kitty produces as well as performs at, will also be returning to full splendour, but can be followed along on Instagram for the time being. As can Kitty herself, with the occasional IGTV performance on there too.
For now, enjoy the gloriousness that is Kitty bedecked in sapphire silk and lace, and be sure to follow both creators for more inspiration.
